A free, family-run celebration of Hispanic culture in the heart of Melrose Park.
Hispano Fest Melrose Park began in 2012 as a small block party celebrating the vibrant Latino community that calls Melrose Park home. Today, it welcomes more than 15,000 neighbors each summer.
Our Mission
To celebrate the culture, music, food, and traditions of Latin America — and to bring our community together across generations.
Community First
The festival is 100% free thanks to local sponsors and dozens of volunteers. All proceeds from raffles support youth programs in Melrose Park.
A little history
What started as a single stage in a church parking lot has grown into a three-day festival with two stages, a family zone, and 40+ vendors. Through it all, our goal has stayed the same: create a warm, welcoming place where everyone belongs.
